Huskisson
Huskisson is located twenty minutes south east from Nowra on the shores of beautiful Jervis Bay, and is a great location from which explore the Jervis Bay area and other beautiful areas around the Shoalhaven.
The Lady Denman Heritage Complex, a maritime museum, gives insight to Huskisson’s historic era of a major boat building industry as well as being home to the stately Lady Denman Ferry which now resting here after her many years of service taking Sydneysiders and visitors across the Sydney Harbour and is an example of the area's shipbuilding. A fascinating place and well worth a visit.
Huskisson also offers interesting cafés, eateries, shopping, an aboriginal art and crafts centre, the trading post with its fascinating collection of antiques, bric-a-brac and other second hand goods. Grab a bite from one of the many takeaway food stores and enjoy eating in the beautifully presented park with play area for the kids, fantastic view and wonderful walk ways.
